Simply Be Magicsculpt Tummy Tuck Swimming Costume Review

This time last year I was preparing for my gastric bypass. I was on the liver shrinking diet, which turned out to be eight weeks of hell as my operation was cancelled on three occasions.

Losing weight over the past year has not been easy. I’m not even sure whether I would do it again is given the opportunity. I’m really in two minds. I did lose a huge chunk of weight at the start, and that’s something I’d be pleased about. However, my weight loss stopped over five months ago and after speaking with a dietician, I’m not really expecting to lose anymore.

My new focus is to trying to eat healthy each day, get the right nutrition, vitamin D in minerals and begin a very light exercise program. As you may know my health is up-and-down a lot and I have all intentions in the world to begin swimming. I’ve just not felt well enough yet.

However, as I’m down four dress sizes, I decided it is time to invest in new swimming costume. After looking on the Simply Be website I found the Magicsculpt Tummy Tuck Costume. It is designed to add control and has a ruching style on the side panels to create a more flattering silhouette.

This figured this was the perfect costume for my new size 18 body. I ordered this new swimming costume and it fits just perfect. I love the purple colour and the whole look suits me really well. I love this new costume and now I’m swim ready. Once I feel well enough I will be hitting the pool to do some gentle swimming with Sylvia and I really can’t wait.

I am excited that I finally have a new swimming costume. The costume is made from 80% Nylon, 20% Elastane powermesh and 12% Elastane. It feels great and washes on a cold wash. My swimming costume has adjustable fixed straps and the no underwire which is perfect for someone with a bigger chest. The costume is currently on sale for £32.00

I’m looking forward to going to the pool when I can and I’m really looking forward to wearing this new costume. I love it and my daughter Sylvia does too. I’m not sure who is more excited. Me or her!

  1. This looks great. I really hate it when they put underwires in, as they get quite uncomfortable. It’s good to see this one doesnt have it in

    1. Thanks Ana. It’s a good outlook to have for me… focusing on being the same and not getting bigger… I may try again to lose more weight but im not ready right now.

  2. I really like the color you have chosen and with the ruching on the sides, this swimming costume is sure to be flattering. I hope you are feeling well enough to start swimming soon x

  3. I have a magisculpt costume and I love how it feels round the tummy – it just didn’t fit round the bust. In fact it’s a little too revealing to wear in a pool which is a shame. Would defiitely try another one though x
