What Is Shilajit?
In the past we often used herbs as a majority of our medicines, obviously now we have more chemical compounds to help, but for the most part a majority of what we have in our medicines comes from the natural world, although we do not realize it when it is in tablet form.
Shilajit is something called a mineral pitch, and it is crafted by a very long process. This process breaks down plant matter and minerals.
Shilajit is made from a sticky, black, and tar-like substance that is found in rocks in high mountain ranges such as the Himalayas.
It was originally found in Tibet and India, although now it is being found in more places. It is traditionally used in Indian Ayurvedic medicines, and it seems that the compounds in it are actually very beneficial for many common health conditions.
