How To Make This Space Rocket Craft

I’ll now show you a step by step guide for making this space rocket paper plate craft! It’s really easy and simple and if you don’t have a paper plate, you could make this paper craft on a card stock background or even paint your own space scene to place your rocket ship and planets on.

Step 1: Making The Space Rocket

First, collect all the listed materials/supplies.

Use the PDF template to cut out all the pieces for the rocket for the paper plate space-craft.

Step 2: Assembling The Space Ship

Glue the red triangular piece on one end of the rectangular piece.

Step 3: Adding Circles To The Space Rocket

Then, glue the red circles on the rectangular piece aligned horizontally.

Step 4: Completing the Paper Rocket Ship

Then, glue the fins of the rocket on the bottom (opposite of the nose cone).

Step 5: Adding Fire To The Space Ship Craft

Then glue the smaller piece of the fire inside the larger piece.

Now take the fire, and glue it on the backside of the bottom of the rectangular piece (in between the rocket’s fin).

Step 6: Creating Paper Planets And A Background

Cut out a dark blue card-stock paper in the size of the circle inside the paper plate.

Then glue the dark blue circular card-stock inside the paper plate.

Step 7: Making The Earth From Paper

Cut out the pieces for the earth on blue and green paper.

Glue the smaller pieces inside the blue circle and allow the glue to dry. Similarly make rest of the planets.
