no! no! Micro Hair Removal System Review
Have you ever wanted to find a pain free hair removal system which gets rid of hair more permanently than shaving or waxing? I sure have and last month I was given the opportunity to test out a new Micro hair removal system using Thermicon technology. This is something I was quite excited to test out and I’m now excited to share my experience.
To begin with I’ll explain a little about Thermicon technology. The no! no1 Thermicon device is a tool that conducts heat down the hair shaft into the follicle. This is similar to laser hair removal, disrupts the hair growth cycle and reduces hair regrowth.
I received the Thermicon no! no! hair removal system in a small compact box. Within the box was the hair removal device, a narrow tip and wide tip for using on different areas of the body, a charger, zip case, wrist band, hair brush and buffer.
After reading the instructions and figuring out how to use the micro hair removal device I quickly tried it out on my upper lip area and an area between my ankles and calf. The tool is pretty easy to use. You turn it on and glide the roller across the area of hair you wish to remove. I did find it a little tricky but I soon got the hang of it and figured out the right method.
The thermicon device burnt the hairs on my upper lip and then I used a buffer to remove any left over hair. You can use the device on different areas in the body from the legs and arms to more sensitive areas such as the upper lip, chin, bikini line or knees. The device is not to be used on the eyebrows, although it can be used in-between them.
The device has an LCD display and has a blue light which lights up when glided correctly over the area for hair removal. It is recommended for best results to use 2-3 times a week and the device is for both men and women and can be used on children over eight with supervision.
For me, someone who has polycystic ovarian syndrome, one of my symptoms is more hair than I’d like especially on my upper lip. I was excited to remove the hair painlessly. In the past I’ve waxed and even threaded my upper lip but that has always brought tears to my eyes. Using this device was quick and easy and did not hurt, although I did feel more sensitive on my lip area after the treatment, more than when I used the tool on a patch of hair near my ankle.
For long lasting results I will need to continue to use the device as each cycle of hair grows back and if this goes to plan the hair should slow down in growth and reduce significantly over the next few months. I am looking forward to seeing the results and will report again at after around 4 cycles of treatment.
The device comes in Mint, red, white or black. I was sent a white device and it is compact and easy to store in the bag it came with. A perfect size for taking on holiday or packing while away. So far I am impressed with the device. I will have to keep using it regular and will monitor the results. The device costs around £150 and can be purchased from a number of stores.
