Natural History Museum Dinosaur Book Review

Today on the blog I am sharing a Natural History Museum Dinosaur Book called Explorer Dinosaurs. The Book covers Dinosaurs in great detail and is brilliant for children to read.

There are a few different sections in the book from Dinosaur Identification to information on Dinosaur Lives, Survival, Extinction and Excavation. Reading this book with my daughter she found it really interesting and was able to recall her visit to the Natural History Museum with her dad.

I love non fiction factual books and this is a great book for kids. It has some lovely illustrations and lots of information to read. The book has brain teasers and a big quiz at the end which makes the book even more interactive.

The thing I like more than anything is the Dinosaur timeline at the back of the book which is 1.8 meters in length. Starting 240 Millions years ago the timeline moves through the Triassic, Jurassic and Creataceous Periods through to the Cenozoic Era.

I think this is a great little book and it would make a great birthday or Christmas gift and it would be great as a book to use in schools when covering the Dinosaurs topic. Sylvia loves the book and is pleased to add it to her collection.
