I am really excited to be attending the 2017 BritMums Conference in London next week and in preparation for the event I went to Rachael’s Hair and Beauty Salon in Chorley to get mermaid hair.

I have attended BritMums every year since I began blogging and it’s the one Blogging Conference I don’t want to miss. I always get to meet friends from the blogging community, to take part in learning sessions and enjoy the BIB Awards. BritMums is the UK’s biggest collective of lifestyle bloggers & social influencers. This year I am a finalist in the Inspire category of the Brilliance In Blogging Awards and so I wanted to get my hair nice for the occasion.

I haven’t had my hair done is over a year and last time it was red so we had to strip out the red and put the blonde back into my hair first. Rachael stripped the colour out twice in order to get the right base to add my new colours.

We then decided to use three main colours, metalic Silver which gets lighter further down, bubble gum pink and lilac. I really love my hair especially the lilac strands, they look fabulous.

My daughter Sylvia was very impressed. She loves my hair and hasn’t stopped asking to play with it since we got home. I had a fantastic day at the hair and beauty salon. I had a great chat, plenty of hot chocolates and a brilliant head massage when the dye was being washed out of my hair. I love this new Mermaid hair style and I love the colours. i’m really pleased with the cut too and the shape of my new hair style.

I’m really looking forward to my adventure to London next week. I think I will have a great time. I will be going a few days before BritMums to pace the Journey and allow myself time to rest inbetween. I know it is going to take all my energy out of me but I can do this and I am looking forward to going on the London Eye, attending some great learning sessions and attending the BIB Awards. It will be fun.
