Kings Cross To Waterloo Via Bus Visiting The South Bank

Today I thought I’d share my adventures of travelling from Kings Cross to Waterloo via Bus. I don’t travel to London too often but each time I visit, I learn more about the transport system and It gets easier to navigate. In fact I now feel like a pro when it comes to travel from Kings cross to Waterloo Bridge and the Southbank. I travelled to London last year to attend BritMums and here is my adventure.

There are several options and travelling via underground is a little faster but not by much. I found the easiest and fastest route for me was to catch the number 59 Bus from outside Kings Cross Station.

To catch a bus in London you will need an Oyster card or a contactless bank card. I purchased an Oyster Card for £5 and then topped it up with some money. A bus journey costs £1.50 and so I caught the number 59 Bus which travels to Streatham Hill getting off at Waterloo bridge.

The London Eye

The Journey is not very long around 30 minutes and there is plenty to see as you travel. We went via Euston Station, passing the Great British Museum and some other interesting landmarks.

When I arrived at the Southbank. I met up with some Amy Treasure and Aby Moore for our BritMums experience on the London Eye. It was a great adventure and afterwards I was able to catch the bus back which cost another £1.50.

Travelling from Kings Cross to Waterloo by Bus is a easy journey to make and I ended up making it 3 times in one weekend to attend the BML17 Conference and again for a evening meal at Wagamamas with Media Vine. It was a great time in London and I am glad I finally get to share this adventure.
