JD Williams Twist Knot Dress Review
Last week I was contacted by JD Williams with the opportunity to review one or two new dresses. I have to admit, I have not been too well since Christmas and have not really left the home much in the past 8 weeks. I’ve pretty much stayed in casual clothing.
However, when I am able I do love to go out in a dress and when I saw the JD Williams Twist Knot Dress range, I hoped this would suit my body shape.
When my blue dress with the flowers arrived, I was so excited and it looked fantastic. I shared a photo on my personal facebook page and lot’s of friends loved the dress, some even saying they were going to buy it.
The green dress arrived a little after and again I was super happy. I do like to find a style of clothing that works with my body shape and often buy one or two of the same style in different patterns or colours. I can then match the same style outfit with the same shoes or in my case boots.
The midi dress is just below knee length, has a rounded neckline and three quarter sleeves. I really love the look of the dresses and they do drape in a way that I look nice even with my curves and bumps. JD Williams asked me to share one of my fashion tips and I’d say for those of us who are plus size, a twist knot dress that drapes can really work well.
The Twist Knot Dresses I received are fully lined which is perfect for me. They also have no fastenings. I was so excited to wear my dresses and John and I went into the garden for a mini photo shoot. Usually it is Sylvia who models the dresses but this week it was my turn and I really enjoyed this. I’m super pleased with the style of dress. I love that they have sleeves and are elegant enough for a special occasion.
I’m looking forward to going out in my new dresses and am super pleased with these items. I used to be a size 24 but now I’m a size 18. I have worked so hard to slim down to a healthier size and getting these lovely items to review was the icing on the cake. Thanks JD Williams, you have a new fan!
