If you think that the best things about Italy are its vineyards, olive groves and quaint hill towns, then you’ll be happy to know that there are great Italian cities that combine all of these things. In fact, many of them are perfect for a family getaway. And we’re talking about more than just a day trip or an afternoon excursion. These destinations make the perfect medium-length vacations. They are compact enough so that you won’t get tired of seeing their sights, but big enough to have plenty of activities for kids.

Here are three Italian cities that have fun activities for your family.

1. Milan

Milan is one of the most beautiful and largest cities in Italy. It has a range of attractions to keep everyone in your family happy, from museums and historic sites to high end shopping destinations, such as the Rolex Milan boutique in Pisa Orologeria and all of the most famous designer stores, such as Prada, Armani, Bottega Veneta, and many more.

There are also plenty of fun things for kids to do, including visits to amusement parks and waterparks. As the kids play, you can shop around Milan and explore the luxury fashion district.

The city is full of interesting things for visitors to see, including the Duomo cathedral (one of the largest in Europe), the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II (a 19th-century glass-roofed arcade), and the Castello Sforzesco (a castle originally built by Francesco Sforza).

You can also visit lesser-known museums such as Palazzo Reale or Pinacoteca di Brera. If you like art, you’ll enjoy going around town looking at paintings by famous artists like Leonardo da Vinci, Caravaggio or Bramante.

2. Pisa

Pisa is famous for its Leaning Tower but is also a great family vacation destination. You and your family get a perfect chance to explore the different amusement parks and zoos.

There are also some historic sites to visit – including the Piazza Dei Miracoli (where you’ll find the Leaning Tower) and the Piazza del Duomo (which is home to the cathedral).

If you love to shop, you’ll enjoy strolling around the streets of Pisa, where you can buy souvenirs and gifts in all kinds of shops.

The Leaning Tower is one of the most famous buildings in Italy, so it’s an obvious place to visit on your trip. Besides the museums and galleries, the city has many lovely churches and cathedrals worth visiting – like San Michele in Borgo or Santa Maria Della Spina.

If you want to get away from the city for a day or two, don’t forget to also visit Florence and Lucca.

From its beautiful architecture to its rich history, there are many reasons to visit Naples on your trip.

Naples has a lot of interesting things to see and do, so when planning your trip, you should make sure that you leave plenty of time for sightseeing. One of the best places to start is probably the Castel Nuovo, San Francesco di Paola, and Santa Chiara.
