Tips for Making Halloween Stuffed Bell Peppers
This recipe is super simple to make but one of the biggest tips to remember is that you need to have parental help with this recipe. The kids can help with stuffing the peppers but for the cutting out portion of the recipe, you’re going to want to have adults for safety reasons.
Ingredients Needed to Make Halloween Stuffed Peppers
- Bell peppers 5-7 pcs.
- Onion ½ cup
- Garlic 1-2 cloves
- Vegetable oil 2 tbsp
- Minced chicken 1 lb
- Cheese ½ cup
- Salt, pepper
How to Make Skull Stuffed Peppers for Halloween
Finely chop the onion and garlic and fry on the pan with vegetable oil until soft and golden brown.
Cut off the tops of the peppers, remove the seeds. Cut out the faces on each pepper.
Add the minced chicken to the pan and cook for another 5 minutes, season with salt and spices to taste. Pour the chicken filling into a bowl and add a handful of grated cheese, and fresh parsley or thyme.
Put a sheet of foil or parchment in a frying pan, brush with oil. Fill the peppers with the filling and sprinkle more cheese on top, cover with tails from the peppers. Pour 1 cup of water or chicken broth on the bottom of the pan. Cover with foil and place it in a hot oven (170 degrees) for 30 minutes.
Remove the finished peppers from the oven.
