These fun artic animal activities and ideas are fantastic for the homeschool mum or as a fun unit study for the classroom teacher.

As an early years teacher I really enjoyed teaching the kids all about animals. children tend to love animals and there are so many fun activities you can do based on this interest. In fact teaching small unit studies and interest based topics is a great way to teach kids and help your own child to grow and develop.

Learning is so much better when it’s fun and today we have some amazing and super fun artic animal activities for the kids to enjoy.

What Is The Artic?

The Artic is the northernmost region of the Earth. Centered in the North Pole, the artic has polar conditions in climate, plant and animal life. The Artic is incredibly cold and there are plenty of Artic animals that can be found in this polar region.

What Animals Live In The Artic?

If you want to know what animals are in the artic then here is a small list. My favourite artic animal has to be the penguin closely followed by the Polar bear. You could ask the kids which animal from the artic is their favourite and maybe create a polar animal or artic animal craft.

  • Arctic fox.
  • Arctic hare.
  • Beluga whale.
  • Caribou.
  • Elk.
  • Lemming.
  • Polar bear.
  • Pika
