🌈 Substitutions and Variations
- Dough alternative: Swap crescent roll dough with puff pastry or pizza dough for a different texture.
- Meatball options: Use turkey or chicken meatballs for a lighter version.
- Cheesy mummies: Place a small slice of mozzarella under the dough strips for a gooey surprise.
🔪 How To Make Scary Meatballs For Halloween
- Step 1: Roll out the crescent rolls and pinch the seams together. Use a pizza cutter to cut thin strips, about a ¼ inch wide.
- Step 2: Wrap 2 or 3 of the strips around each meatball, making sure to leave some of the meat showing to look like a wrapped mummy.
- Step 3: Dip 2 olives in a little marinara and place on each meatball (If you buy whole olives, slice them first). Put a dab of marinara in the olive hole and place an eyeball on each.
- Step 4: After you wrap the Halloween meatball in the crescent roll dough place them in the oven at 350 degrees for 6-8 minutes or until golden brown. Serve and enjoy your scary meatballs!

👩🍳 Expert Tips
- Start with cooked meatballs. Less stress, more snackin’—just wrap and bake!
- Thin dough strips = better mummies. Thick ones puff too much and hide the fun.
- Don’t cover the eyes! Leave space, so your little meatball mummies can see the spooky fun.

💖 Serving Suggestions

- Pumpkin deviled eggs: Classic deviled eggs with a festive twist—paprika-dusted tops to resemble pumpkins.
- Monster mash guacamole: A bowl of guac with olive slice "eyes" staring back at you—creepy and delicious.
