Fantastic Christmas Cake Ideas
This week my family went to The Festival of Nativities in Chorley. We saw some amazing scenes and some fabulous crafts, Christmas cooking, and super yummy looking Christmas cakes. I took some photos as I really wanted to share the fabulous creations we discovered.
Today I’m sharing 5 Festive Christmas Cake Ideas. Do Enjoy.
First was the Silent Night cake which was covered in blue fondant and decorated with art of the nativity and sparkly stars. I love this cake. It is super cute and really does share the true meaning of Christmas.
Another cake I really loved was the Nativity chocolate scene.
The baker used a butter cream style icing and used Nativity chocolate moulds to create the nativity characters.
This is cute and I would have loved to try this one.
A more contemporary cake and one I really loved it this marble cake with Christmas and Nativity themed wording.
I think this is cute and love the different styles of the texts.
This has to be my favourite cake and I really think it is a talented creation.
Last but not least, I love the Swiss roll Christmas Candles.
This is a beautiful cake, tasty creation and so so creative.
I think if I was to try making something with Sylvia this would be the one for me to try and make. It is so super cute.
There were so many great baking ideas, nativity scenes and treats.

These are just lovely. Now that you mention that the candles are swiss rolls, it becomes easier to see how we could make this ourselves too. I might also give it a go – let me know how yours turns out?

I love this post with the amazing cakes my grandmother and mother decorated cakes in the past. Each year my kids would ask for their grandmother to make their birthday cake. Someone (whoever created cakes) has much talent. My favorite is the blue nativity cake

Holy dooly, these cake creations are phenomenal! The candles are my favourite. Knowing me I will try and recreate these at home and it will come out completely different haha
