Supplies For This Kids Stem Project

Directions for the Valentine’s Day Experiment:

Set cookie cutter onto a wide plate.

Pour baking soda into cookie cutter.

Carefully use the spoon to even out the baking soda. 

Add 10 drops of red food coloring to the vinegar. Stir. 

Fill dropper with colored vinegar.

Get your little one to drop the vinegar on different sections in the heart.

Squirt liquid onto baking soda. Repeat this step desired amount of times.

Watch the baking soda fizz when the vinegar makes contact with it!

Use small drops to cover the entire heart.

Remove cookie cutter to see what the heart looks like!
