11 Random Things About Me –

Last week I was tagged by Emma a Mummy and Blogger over at “The Joy of Five” Thank you Emma. I will now attempt to answer your eleven questions and share more about me with the world. Here are 11 random things about me.

11randomthings

What is your first ever memory?

When I was 2 years old I was sealed (in an LDS Temple) as a forever family to my mum, dad and older sister. I remember the beautiful chandelier over our heads as we gathered as a family. I also remember reading Postman pat on the way home in the van. This is my earliest memory.

What would you chose for your last meal?

Minted Lamb steak and fries and mushrooms and a Denny’s Oreo Milk Shake (from New Zealand)

How long is your longest friendship and where did you meet?

My best friend Rebecca was born on the same day as me in the same hospital ward. We unofficially met when we were born. We can’t remember but we met again as infants and toddlers and attended the same nursery school as each other. Rebecca was my best friend. I lost contact and then after a few years her dad moved onto my street and we hung out as if we had never been apart. I sadly lost contact with Rebecca for first 10-15 years old my life once my family migrated to New Zealand but I found her again in 2009 and we have stayed in contact ever since, supported each other with our battles and talk regular. She is and will forever me my longest friendship! We are forever friends!

If you could go back in time and change something would you? And if so what would it be?

This is a hard one to answer. The thing is if I was to change something, it would be my knowledge. I’d teach myself things before I made mistakes or educated myself so life is smoother and easier. However this may not be a good idea because life is all about learning. and it is through our experiences that we grow.
So the answer has to be Yes and No.

What is your most treasured possession and why?

My most treasured possession is my Family History. I live researching family history. I have done this for 20 years and I love it!

What would be your dream job?

Freelance blogging, writing and speaking or working as a PR and Social Media Manager

Do you have a Pet Name?

My pet name is Ang. My husband calls me honey most of the time.

Do you believe in love at first sight?

It can happen. It did with my daughters father! I felt something and so did he. Sadly the love was ruined a few years later by domestic violence. As for my wonderful hubby who I am happily married to now, we actually met online and got to know each other as friends first. By the time we met in person I believe I all ready loved him deep down inside.

What is your best achievement to date?

It was my University Degrees, then becoming a Mother and now becoming a blogger.

If you could change anything about yourself what would it be?

I would have better self esteem and more confidence: It is a work in progress. As it was bashed out of me for many years! I am brutally honest but my experiences have given me a wealth of knowledge and I am using this in a positive way to try and inspire others.
Would you rather trade intelligence for looks or looks for intelligence?
I would rather trade looks for intelligence. After all I’m currently overweight and don’t look my best self yet but I do have the brains and that is all I need.

    1. It is a fab story about me and my friend Rebecca! Funny enough another friend contacted me and said her best friend was also born in the same hospital on the same day! I could not believe it! What a co-incidence. Angela xx
