For parents, Christmas break can be a long and grueling time if you don’t have something for your kids to do. I mean let’s face it; kids are used to having a routine and a schedule. This easy Christmas tree craft for kids to make is just one idea to avoid winter break boredom.

Other Activities for Christmas Break

In addition to this super easy craft, it is important to keep your kiddos having fun during their time off of school. You can do that in the following ways:

Family Game Night

There is probably a good chance that someone got a new board game for Christmas. Whip that puppy out and have a fun time playing board games. It’s a fun way to spend time together, and it’s free!

Plan Out Door Activities

Winter break is the perfect time to go sledding, tubing, or ice skating. Get out there and make some old fashioned memories with your kids.

Volunteer

Volunteering is a great way to instill a passion in your kids that could go with them for a lifetime. There is always room for volunteers around the holidays. Go into nursing homes to spend time with people, work at the soup kitchen, or hand out blankets to the homeless. Anything helps.

Go, Bowling

Another fun activity to do over break is to go bowling. When you can’t go outside and you are tired of all the electronics, this is a great physical activity that will get some of the wiggles out.
