How To Make A Sensory Bin For Easter
Pour pink sand into the sensory tray. Spread the sand out into an even layer.
Add the pom poms in the tray, spacing them apart.
Place Easter eggs around the tray.
Add erasers around the tray.
Set the straws and scoop inside the Easter sensory tray.
It’s play time! Enjoy this fun Easter activity for preschoolers and toddlers.
For this activity bin, these are the things I observed from my child’s play time:
First, she took out the supplies and set them aside so that she could fill his eggs with sand.
She filled all of the eggs with sand using her hands or the scoop.
She set them all in a row in the tray (as pictured).
She even tried to put a small Easter egg into the large Easter egg and said, “Well that doesn’t work.”
The bunny ears were too tall for the larger egg to close correctly. She enjoyed scooping the sand up with her hands and watching the sand fall into the egg.
She lined all of the bunny erasers up and also placed them into one of the larger eggs and closed it. She buried one of the bunnies in the sand using a scoop.
My child used the straw to draw circle swirls into the sand. At the end of playtime, she placed all of the pom poms up next to her filled Easter eggs.
