Learn About the Environment With the Lorax
Last week we wrote an article on recycling and not wasting food. Protecting the environment is such an important thing to do and today we have a fun Lorax toilet paper craft to share. I love toilet tube crafts.
It’s a great way to make use of the inside of your toilet roll, (recycling and not wasting) and it’s always fun for the little ones. The Lorax is a fab book by Dr Seuss which talks about protecting the environment and so it fit’s in nicely with the theme of the week. Enjoy.

How to Make This Lorax Craft
Step One: Download and print the Lorax template onto white cardstock.
Step Two: Let your little ones colour the Lorax with crayons (or markers). They can colour him traditional colours or have fun with him and add their own artistic touch!
Step Three: Cut the pieces out and set them aside.
Step Four: Cut a piece of orange cardstock large enough to wrap around the toilet paper tube.
Step Five: Wrap the orange paper around the tube and glue in place.
Step Six: Glue the pieces of the Lorax onto the tube. Use a pencil or something similar to slightly curve the legs before you glue them onto the tube. (This helps give the Lorax some dimension.)
