Sharing is caring!

Crayon recycling is something I loved to do as an Early years teacher. The classroom always ended up with small stubs of crayons and rather than throw them away, the teachers would recycle crayons into new and interesting multicoloured shapes.

Easter is an amazing time and a great opportunity to have fun with kids and get them learning. No matter what time of the year it is, you can recycle old crayons and have a fun recycle crayons activity with the kids.

Today I am sharing this fun and colourful crayon recycling tutorial for making recycled crayons for Easter with the kids.

Enjoy!

Recycle Crayons Activity

I’ve alway been a fan of the quote, “Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without”. It’s one of my favourite quotes and today, we are recycling and reusing old crayons to create something new.
