Today I went with my daughter to her school Christmas Fair. it was really special for us as I’ve been too unwell the past 4 years to go and so this was a first for us.
We had hot chocolate and mince pies and then went to look at the Christmas treats that were for sale. We loved the marshmallow snowman treats and Sylvia just and to buy one.
I thought they were a fantastic idea and have never seen them before. What a fab idea!
I really loved the Snowman marshmallow men and they were according to Sylvia super tasty.
We then moved onto the tombola where we spent £2 and won four prizes. Sylvia was super excited to win lip gloss which is something she has been asking for for Christmas.
I won candles and a box of Roses which I’m sure will both be used up by Christmas.
Next Sylvia asked if she could have her face painted. She chose to be Rudolf and looked pretty cool.
Sylvia sung Silent Night at the Kareoke, took part in a lucky dip and bought some reindeer food for Rudolf for Christmas Eve. We saw some beautiful decorations and then the grand finale, Sylvia went to meet Santa. This was her first time to meet Santa in 3 years. There was no queue and we had plenty of time. She had a great chat with Santa and received a lovely gift.
We really enjoyed the Christmas fair. I am super exhausted and started to feel dizzy and sick at the end but it was such a great thing to do and I am so glad I got to experience this with my daughter.
