Baking A Gluten Free Lemon Cake With Esther

On Sunday Sylvia and I went to Yorkshire to visit Esther, one of the best friends you could ask for and blogger at Inside Out And About. Esther is the most amazing cook and crafter and I love spending time together.

Sylvia and Esther had fun baking the most delicious Lemon Cake. I watched and took photos and Sylvia got stuck in making the most delicious cake I’ve tasted in some time.

Gluten Free Lemon Cake

The cake was super easy to make and was a gluten free one which is always good as it can be shared with more people. Sylvia had a lot of fun and we really enjoyed our visit.

I think the taste of the lemon rind really made the cake moist and delicious. Also the sprinkle of icing sugar on the top. It was a real treat and a fun bake to make.

Gluten Free Lemon Cake

The cake turned out fantastic and we had an awesome afternoon. Thanks Esther! I can’t wait to meet up again.

I am such a terrible cook and baker. It looks like they had such a good time making this – it makes me want to go try and make something fun too.

How fun- I love lemon cake! The fact that it is gluten free is even better- my daughter can’t have gluten, and we only make gluten free things here at home. Mmm..now I want some lemon cake ๐Ÿ˜‰

I’m gluten free too and Lemon cake is one of my favourites – I always put the rind in too and I like to add poppyseed for a nutty taste – this looks delicious and really moist!
