My Daughter’s First Photo Shoot A Rachel Riley Dress
Before we began blogging I took many photos of my daughter. However it wasn’t until 2015 when we invested in a camera and my husband got serious about photography that we started taking photos of Sylvia in pretty dresses. I loved it, she loved it and it’s been great practice for my husband John.
Sylvia’s very first dress which we got in our early days of blogging was a gorgeous Rachel Riley Yellow and red butterfly dress designed by Rachel Riley. I love it. The pleated dress has lasted over two years and it still fits really well. So john took Sylvia to the temple grounds in Chorley and they did their first ever photo shoot.
Rachel Riley is a British baby and children’s wear designer. Her style is unique and beautiful and she was named the favourite children’s designer for Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge. In fact, Prince George, the son of Prince William and Kate were photographed wearing Rachel Riley outfits on numerous occasions. According to the Mail Online, Rachel Riley’s other celebrity customers include Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Jamie Oliver, Jude Law and Claudia Schiffer.
The Yellow Cardigan is also a Rachel Riley piece and the red shoes were from the Tesco FnF range. I can say the dress lasted two years and is still in good condition. The cardigan however wore out within a year and is no longer wearable.
There were over 200 fabulous pictures when we did our first photo shoot and whilst i share the post originally in 2015, I thought with the Summer on it’s way in a few months it would be great to revamp this post and re-share, after all those who read the blog now may not have seen this.
It’s been two years since this first shoot and we have done any more since. I started the Sylvia’s Style category and now share lovely photos on our Inspiration Edit Instagram feed too which are taken by my husband and myself. I am looking forward to reviewing more clothes in particular dresses this Summer. It’s going to be fun. I have two dresses lined up and need to look for a few nice ones for our Summer collection. It’s going to be so fun!
I do hope you enjoy.
