A Cracking Christmas Gift Guide for Families

 Christmas Gift Guide

Christmas is just a few months away and I’ve been doing some research, looking for great gift and present ideas to give to all my lovely family members. (My sister has six kids) I’ve spotted some lovely gifts for girls and boys as well as something for myself and my husband. So here is my cracking gift guide for families.

BakedIn Baking Club Subscription – This would be the ideal gift for any child who loves to bake and receive monthly surprises in the mail. The BakedIn Club send out a different baking kit each month, to keep you and your child busy in the kitchen.

Baylis & Harding Jojoba, Silk & Almond Oil Bath Set – This fabulous item for any Mother wanting to relax and unwind during the Christmas break. I love the idea of a new dressing gown.

Disney Frozen 52 Piece Art Set  – I love to give my daughter new stationary each year to encourage creativity. This frozen set looks like the perfect item to do the job.

Playmobil Advent Calendar Unicorn playground –  This Playmobil set is the perfect Christmas gift to wrap under the tree or if you want it can be used as an Advent Calendar Pre-Christmas.

Sylvanian Families Cosy Cottage Home – I’ve seen his wonderful Sylvanian families cottage in a few stores and think this would make the perfect gift for my 5 year old niece.

MIffy Playing on a Sleigh Cushion – My 3-year-old niece is a fan of Miffy and this Cushion would be a fabulous addition to her toddler bed.

The Seas of Ramion – This recently released collection of fantasy adventure stories would be the ideal gift for my tween nephews to read.

Twirlywoos Toodeloo Activity Toy – Made with beautiful soft to touch fabrics this talking toodeloo would give my 2 year old niece a familiar face to play with and cuddle.

Star Wars Bop It R2-D2 Game – Do you have a Star Wars Fan in your home? We sure do. This toy is the perfect gift for a young child or a in my case my star wars crazy husband.

Amazon Fire TV Stick – This TV Stick is the perfect gift for my husband and I and has a large variety of apps and streamable content to keep us entertained.

Turtle Mike Half Shell Heroes Talking Figure  –  The talking turtle is a ideal gift for boys who love figures with bonus features. I think this will go down well with my nephew.

Doc McStuffins Pet Vet Bag –  My daughter loves to role play and this Vet Set would be the perfect item to get her imagination going.

Ravensburger Minions Movie Jigsaw Puzzles– Being Minion crazy, my child would enjoy these Minion puzzles. A great stocking filler which is not too expensive.

Ravensburger Big Ben 3D Puzzle Night Edition – We do enjoy a good Jigsaw Puzzles in our home. This 3D Tower would make a fabulous challenge for my hubby.

DC Comics Figures Batman vs Joker – My nephews love figures and with these two characters as a gift they could really get up to some great imaginative play.

Disney’s Frozen Elsa Toddler Doll – The most prized possession of my child is her Elsa Toddler doll and something I’d highly recommend. What little girl would not love this?

Gillette razor gift set – My husband loves new toiletries and I don’t think I can go wrong with this razor trimming set.

  1. The silk and almond oil bath sets sound amazing! I wouldn’t mind that for Christmas 🙂 And the playmobil advent calendar is on my daughters list this year. The toy advent calendars are so much better than chocolate ones, bit more pricey, but worth it! Some really great ideas on this list, I like the comic figure idea, too. I think my son would like those. xx

    1. Thanks Sarah! I’m looking forward to unwrapping my bath and oil set! (We don’t have a bath on our house) but i will being using another bath to relax that’s for sure! The toy calendar is fab too! i love all these items! They are great imo 🙂

  2. A fab gift guide full of something for everyone 🙂 I love the boys gifts, I need major help with ideas for my son! Both of mine are at stages where they are growing out of certain things but are still too young for others.

  3. Great gift guide! I love looking at other people’s guides since I keep being asked what I want for Christmas and I don’t really know what I want this year.

  4. This is a great gift guide. My two favourites (I couldn’t narrow it down to one) are the Miffy cushion and the R2-D2 Bop It game. I love Bop It.

  5. Quite an interesting mix. N had a Lego advent calendar this year, but I’m preferring the offer from Playmobile this year. I haven’t seen any offers though so he’ll have to make do with our home made chocolate and activity calendar instead.

    1. Yes, I wanted to find items which I could give to my own family and my sister’s kids. Lots of fun things and I agree the advent calendar is always better when it’s not chocolate!

    1. For us it means we can watch our amazon prime account on the tv rather than just on a computer! Also it has some awesome apps which suit our family lifestyle such as BYU TV, Bible stories, netflix, and much more. I know not everyone is religious but for us the stick provides family friendly stuff and talks/conference from my christian faith which i find an added bonus to the general films and movie options.

  6. Would you believe it I actually got the minions jigsaw for my son this Xmas. He loves minions and jigsaws and is so good at them. This post would be great to link up to my as gift guide linky. 🙂

  7. It is a great list Angela!! I’m really bad to organise myself for Christmas. I normally start the first week of December as I just know there is no more time!! So bad!! Every year I say to myself that I will be organised but look at me I’m in the same situation again!! I like the Advent canlendar, the Sylvanian House and the Miffy cushion. 🙂 xx

  8. Lovely suggestions! My little boy was obsessed with the sylvanian families cottage at a toy show we recently went to, I remember having it a child too – I wish I`d kept it! xx

  9. Some great ideas, I really like the idea of the BakedIn Baking Club Subscription, anything that gets kids doing stuff in the kitchen is great and I’m pretty sure any kid would love a present that kept coming every month 🙂

    1. lol! Thats why i called it the GUIDE FOR FAMILIES! Yes I tried to cover something for everyone. I Love Christmas shopping but for this year (for me) a lot of my shopping will be from online as i’m not yet well for long shopping trips- although i will be visiting the big supermarkets!

  10. Love the fact that there’s something on here for everyone. Eva would love all the frozen things. I’ve been trying to decide what Sylvanian families house to get her. This one looks cute x #ABloggersChristmas

    1. Thanks. My daughter still does not know about the playmobil calendar but she saw a picture of it on my blog and had apparently watched it on Youtube and asked me for one- after I had received it so i was pleased with that! – Angela
