How To Encourage Kids To Read

If your toddler isn’t an avid reader yet and you’d like him to, here’s a little help. Follow these simple and actionable strategies to encourage him to read more.

  • Set aside a read-aloud time for your child. Pick up simple books and read together animatedly.
  • Develop interest in newer books with the help of YouTube videos.
  • Develop a bedtime reading routine.
  • Create a cozy reading corner in your home. Set up a little tepee with a mattress, a few pillows and good books.
