As the Halloween season draws closer I have been looking at fun ways to get crafty with the kids. I do love a good Halloween Bucket from Poundland or the Dollar store, however, making your own DIY Trick or treat bag can be really fun and boost a child’s self esteem knowing that they have made their own bag to collect their goodies in.

  1. I really love the skeleton bird bag as it’s super cool and reminds me of that story book the dark dark night!

  2. These made me smile and my favorite was the first with the green felt Frankenstein. When my kids were little, Halloween was one of my favorite holidays. I took the neighborhood crew and we were out until the very last porch light had dimmed. Then we’d go home, make hot chocolate and the kids would swap candy. “I’ll trade you a Snicker for you Hostess Cupcake” x

    1. thats a good idea. When I was in NZ we had trunk or treat where everyone kitted out the car boot with halloween decorations and treats at church and the kids went there to get treats. It was safer than random houses on the streets.
