The Ultimate Dr Seuss Garden Party Celebration

In a few weeks it will be the Birthday of Dr Seuss and what better way to celebrate this than a themed Dr Seuss Garden party! That’s exactly what my friend Dr Talita Toluta’u Fifita did in New Zealand to celebrate the kids return to school after a long summer holiday.

Rainbow Party

Being a teacher myself and a lover of children’s books and book themed activities, I was super excited to have the opportunity to share these fantastic photos on The Inspiration Edit. Dr Seuss wrote the book, “Oh the places you’ll go” a fantastic kids book about going places, gaining an education and having amazing life experiences.

I really love this section from the book. It’s so true. Kids have the ability to learn, to grow and to go any direction they choose when it comes to education. Encouraging and teaching our kids at a young age to love learning is so so important and the key to their future success.

You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes
You can steer yourself
Any direction you choose.
You’re on your own. And you know what you know.
And YOU are the guy who’ll decide where to go.

 Rainbow Party

I love the colours and the designs of this garden party. It’s so bright and I’m sure really motivated and got the littles one’s excited about returning to school and gaining the precious education which is theirs to have. The balloons are fantastic and the woven basket, themed as an hot air balloon is truly creative.

Rainbow Party

Dr Toluta’u Fifita, did an amazing job and in doing so shared the all so important message that education is key. Giving our children the opportunity to grow and develop is essential to securing them a great future. I will be encouraging my daughter to follow her dreams, no matter how big. Whether she wants to be a hairdresser, a lawyer or even a blogger like me. I’ll help my daughter to reach her goals and dreams.

Rainbow Party

Thanks for sharing these fantastic images with me Talita and I’m so excited to see the places we go, both me and my daughter as she continues her educational journey. Your an inspiration!

I love Dr. Seuss, and I definitely love the decorations she used. I once went to a “Oh, the Places You’ll Go” themed party and I got to help in decorating the room with different colored balloons, and we also had a colorful fruit bar. It was fun!
