Around The World With The Ingreedies

Around The World With The Ingreedies

A few weeks ago Sylvia was sent the most amazing book called Around The World With The Ingreedies. The book really is fantastic and is brilliantly illustrated and one I’m pleased we now own.

Around The World With The Ingreedies explores different foods from different places around the world and is full of fun facts, brilliant maps and 13 tasty recipes for the family to cook and test out together.

From Brazil to Sweeden to China the book has some really interesting facts and I really enjoyed reading this with Sylvia. I am a huge fan of non fiction, educational and useful books and I feel this is both an educational and fun book for children.

I really enjoyed reading about the different spices and flavours used in Morrocco and learning how to make Brazilian Brigadeiros (truffles). The book shares a Cheerful chilli chart to learn about the heat level of chillis and the book shares about different cooking methods and pots used in different countries.

I didn’t know what to expect when I was sent this book but is really is fantastic. The book is hardback and really good quality. It’s full of fun and can be read over and over. I am really looking forward to trying out some recipes with Sylvia as we continue our experiments in the kitchen.

I actually think this is a great book for adults as it is for kids and It really is the best kids cooking and recipe book I’ve seen to date. I’m really impressed and have been showing the book to my friends and recommending it.

I hope you enjoy this review. I was sent the book to review but all words and opinions are my own.

If you are interested in purchasing a copy of this book, you can find it here.
