40 Christmas Books For Kids

40 Christmas Books For Kids

As part of our KLTR Linky, Kids Love to Read, I wanted to created a list of fantastic books to read with the kids in the lead up to Christmas. I’ve often seen ideas such as a children’s book advents where an individual book is opened and read each day up until christmas and I think it’s such a fantastic idea.

With that said, I wanted to share 50 Christmas Book for kids which I think would be a great read. Here goes. I hope you enjoy the list.

I do hope you love this list. There are some old classics and some newer books. I’m really looking froward to Christmas this year and reading with my daughter. There are many movies and books around but reading takes me back to my own Christmas when I was a child and is a great and fantastic way to help build children’s literacy during the Jolly season.

We really do love Christmas it is a special time of the year, one for being kinder, for doing more for others, for sharing and caring and being secret pixies. I know it’s a few months away but I’m going to begin preparing now and it’s super extra special as my family are here from New Zealand so this will be one Christmas to remember.

Oh fab! Lots of these I haven’t heard of that I will have to check out. I definitely want to do a book advent for my son once he is a bit older. I still have one from my own childhood which is the story of the Nutcracker told over 24 little books which can then hang on the tree. It’s in a pretty stand thing and I still get it out every year, I thought it was soooo special when I was little! How exciting that your family are visiting for Christmas! #KLTR
